Mount Coot-tha is both a mountain and a suburb. It sits 287 metres above sea level on Taylors Range and is one of the highest points in Brisbane. Well known for its fantastic mountain bike and walking trails on the western side of the forest and the lookout gives visitors a wonderful panoramic view of Brisbane, the Glasshouse Mountains, Moreton Bay and the D’Aguilar Range. It’s surrounded by natural bushland reserve which covers more than 1500 hectares and is home to natural flora and fauna.
