Redlands Junior Touch Football
This year, Redlands Touch Football took 200+ local kids (8-18yrs) to the Junior State Cup. The kids did extremely well and overall, our Junior Representative Team was ranked 4th in the Qld. The kids want to go one better in 2020! To help the kids with this goal. we are launching a new junior skills development program. It is open to ALL 890+ kids at our club. It will run between August 2019 and February 2020. We are paying for Australia’s best Touch Coach to design a program and to mentor our current coaches in delivering the program to the kids. We will also need to purchase more equipment. Everyone is getting involved including our champion U18s team who are keen to help train the young ones in the latest skills. This initiative has two outstanding benefits; 1. Our kids are going to love their Touch Footy even more at the local Friday night comp. 2. For those 200+ local kids who will represent Redlands again in 2020 at the State Cup, it means that they will be one step ahead of the game! Go the Muddies!
