Mauri ora e te iwi Ngā Manu Putohe have been running kapa haka programs throughout the Brisbane region for 18 months. We are a rangatahi (youth) kapahaka group ages ranging from 3 years old to 18 years old. We provide an avenue for students to learn and practice Maori culture and to help build our community. There are many costs involved which include venue, costumes, uniforms, poi making, sewing etc to name a few. If we are successful this will help kickstart our semester in August 2022 for our newest students to learn about there heritage and culture. Kapahaka builds confidence and gives our tamariki a sense of value and we have proved that kapa haka is beneficial physically mentally and socially. We would love your awhi to support our tamariki.
Vote For Nga Manu Putohe, to embrace and spread the love and traditions of our Maori culture here in Australia to our future generations and the community. Providing opportunities and positive teachings for the future generations
