Every year, grades 4, 5 and 6 at Mount Cotton State School arrange beautiful musical compositions on their ipads, but their hard work is often spoilt by the sounds of crows, school bells and other background noise. Audio recording and editing skills are vital for children growing up in the digital age. A small 'studio' space with soundproofing and a couple of powerpoints, headphones and microphones would go a long way towards helping the students learn how to produce more professional recordings.
