2019 Karate Nationals Tasman.
We are a team of 28 local karate athletes from Sunshine Coast Martial Arts, a Traditional Shotokan training and sports dojo. Our team ranges in age from 8-49 years young. We train hard and constant all year round, There isnt really an off season in karate with local events regularly. We are fundraising to assist financially, all of our athletes selected to represent QLD at The Australian Karate Nationals 2019. It has just been confirmed the 2019 Nationals will be held in Launceston, Tasmania. To attend Australian Nationals, athletes must be selected by AKF/WKF QLD Coaches. At 2018 Nationals our team of 28 athletes won a staggering 13 Medals over the 3 day event, competing against the best Australia has. We are so excited that karate will, for the first time, be an Olympic game in 2020. Please help us raise funds, for our dedicated and talented athletes to get to Nationals 2019 in Launceston Tasmania.

There are a group of Students at a Noosa who work and train like it is their very existence. They deserve all of the help they can get because they are always ready to take it up a notch and funding is the only thing they need. Go team SUNSHINE COAST MARTIAL ARTS.

I see the dedication that goes into training, and how it affects the attitude of the youth, they are more courteous than ordinary young people of today and gives them goals to focus on, inspiring.
