My father has endured more than any man should over the last 7 years. A double transplant, heart attack, bowel resection and now a rare eye disease which is taking his vision. Over this time he has remained ever thankful for each day he gets to wake up and enjoy his life and family for another day. With his new passion for life he has taken to both donating time, money and gifts as well as raising money for numerous charities, including the PA research foundation (whom without he would not certainly be here today). He also spends a lot of his time raising organ donation awareness in the local community with Donatelife. Due to his many health issues he is unable to work but spends a lot of time in his garden. With his sight now failing him, I would love very much to be able to give something to man who gives so much to others, especially at this time of year. My hope is with a little extra money we are able to help build him a garden that is wonderful but still safe for him to be able to walk around and enjoy once he has lost his sight. I have no doubt however, knowing my father all too well, that he may not accept this gift for himself and will want to donate the money to one of his many favourite charities at this time of year. Either of which I know will bring him great joy :)
